As of 1st November, Nors Centro-Oeste began its distribution operations for Volvo Construction Equipment in the states of Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul in Brazil.
The entry into the construction equipment sector in Brazil represents a new milestone for Nors, allowing it to strengthen its presence in this market, where it has been present since 2007.
This operation involved the acquisition of most of the operational assets of Tecnoeste (the brand’s previous representative), adding five more facilities – Campo Grande, Dourados, Cuiabá, Sinop and Juína – to the current Nors network in Brazil.
Alexander Jonov, CEO of Nors Centro Oeste, says that “customers will be able to count on the service they already know, now backed by the even greater solidity of the Nors Group, which specialises in machinery, equipment and the automotive segment”.
Luiz Marcelo Daniel, President of Volvo CE Latin America, also said: “We are excited about the start of Nors’ operations in the machinery segment in Brazil. The Group has a long relationship with the Volvo brand in several countries and in Brazil, in the truck segment. We are sure that we are starting another chapter in this history of collaboration for the benefit of our customers.”
