Strongco is participating in the Volvo CE Masters 2024 competition to compete against other Volvo Dealer teams
across North America which is organized in 3 online Team competition rounds to qualify for the Regional (North America) and
Masters World Final in Sweden. The competing teams will be judged on a scale of performance, technical skills and parts systems.
Team Strongco has completed Rounds 1, 2 and 3, and we stand in 2nd Place.
Our team was qualified and attended the Regional Finals in January 23rd – 25th 2024 in Shippensburg, PA.
While we didn’t shine in the Top 2 to reach World Final, we’re incredibly proud of our team’s effort and dedication in the Regional Finals. This experience has been a journey of growth and learning, developing themselves both individually and as a team. As we look ahead, it has been a valuable learning experience and we continue our pursuit of excellence together. Congratulations to the Top 2 teams moving on to the World Finals.
Get to know Team Strongco
Chris Snow
Field Technician L1 | Mississauga, ON
Chris Snow has been with Strongco for over 25 years, working as a Field Service Technician. He specializes in Volvo Construction Equipment repairs that includes engine, after treatment, electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems repair. He is highly motivated, organized and persistent when it comes to completing tasks on time and accurately. He is always up for a challenge and is excited to be part of Team Strongco for this competition.
Steve Bogert
Field Technician | Burlington, ON
Steve Bogert is a skilled field technician from our Strongco Burlington Branch in Ontario. He has been with us for just over 11 years and Steve brings to us a strong work ethic and enjoys challenging problem-solving tasks. He specializes in Volvo Construction Equipment Excavators, Haul trucks and loaders repair. He is honored to be part of the competition, he is excited to work with the Team Strongco to make it to the finals in Sweden.
Troy Branch
Field Technician | Moncton, NB
Troy Branch is a highly experienced field technician working out of our Strongco Moncton Branch in New Brunswick. He has more than 20 years experience working throughout Atlantic Canada on construction, road building, and forestry equipment. He is an expert in his field and Troy is a reliable, hardworking, dedicated employee who is committed to providing quality service with every job he does and thrilled to be part of Team Strongco.
Hal Booker
Parts Specialist | Thunder Bay, ON
Hal Booker has been with Strongco for 6 years. He is passionate about his work and strives to provide the highest quality in parts and service to his customers. His diverse experience in the agricultural and construction industry have given him a wealth of knowledge about various types of equipment. Hal is proud to compete and collaborate with Team Strongco and is looking forward to using his expertise to continue to make a positive impact within the company.
