As part of Nors Day 2026, Nors Canada teams across the country came together for the Fill the Bucket food drive, held from October 1st to 23rd under the theme “Ambition in Action: Feeding Communities, Building Connections.”
The nationwide initiative united employees, customers, suppliers and community partners across 36 Nors branches to support local food banks and community organizations working to address food insecurity. Through locally organized food drives and financial contributions, participating branches helped provide essential resources to individuals and families in the communities they serve.
Each location selected a local organization based on community needs, ensuring that donations went towards initiatives providing direct support to those who need it most. By combining food collections with financial contributions adding up to over $9,000, the teams from each Nors branch across Canada helped make a meaningful difference in their community.
In Mississauga, employees collected 216 pounds of food for Knights Table, a local charitable organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. Across Canada, Nors branches proudly contributed food donations and financial support to charitable organizations serving their local communities (see below for full list of organizations).
Fill the Bucket reflects Nors Canada’s commitment to making a meaningful difference beyond its day-to-day operations. By working together toward a shared purpose, employees and community partners brought the value of Ambition to life, demonstrating how collective action can help strengthen communities and build lasting connections.
Thank you to everyone who donated, organized collections and supported this initiative. Your generosity and commitment helped make this nationwide effort possible and reinforced the importance of supporting the communities where we live and work.
